Professors Synolakis and Borrero have been traveling in Indonesia, Sri
Lanka, Maldives and India following the Dec 26, 2004 tsunami. The TRC
staff rarely answer the telephone as neither the Department of Civil
Engineering does not provide secretarial support. While they try,
they can not always respond to emails even from media. If you contact
us via email and you don't get a response within two days, please try
