| This was where we stayed for 5 days. The 75 foot, steel, diesel powered MV (motor vessel) Heduru. Originally it was a hospital ship owned by the provincial government that made cruises up and down the coast bringing a doctor to remote villages. It was recently bought and refurbished by a business man in Lae. It is now a charter vessel for fishing and diving along the PNG coastline. |

| Captain John steered us clear of the dangerous reefs. He also drove the boat all night long so we could wake up at our next survey site. |
