WISER, Wireless Information System for Emergency Responders, was
designed by the National Library of Medicines's Division of Specialized Information Services as an application to assist first responders in hazardous material incidents.
It provides a wide range of information on hazardous substances,
including chemical identification support, physical characteristics,
human health data, and containment and suppression information.
