"The Journal of Comparative Neurology appears weekly and publishes papers on the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system. Its field is broadly defined but does not include clinical neurology, neuropathology, psychiatry, and introspective psychology excepting insofar as these bear on the anatomy and physiology of the nervous system. Preference is given to papers which deal descriptively or experimentally with the nervous system, its structure, growth, and function."
