Full text fo Baum's Textbook of Pulmonary Diseases (2004) 7th ed.
The Textbook of Pulmonary Diseases is ideal for those interested in the fundamentals and practice of pulmonary medicine. From the beginning, Dr. Gerald L. Baum designed this textbook for the introduction of pulmonary medicine to medical students and residents, while making it sufficiently comprehensive to provide the updates, background, and recommendations needed by the practicing pulmonologist. The first edition of this book, published in 1964, was the first multi-authored text representing a ¿comprehensive collection of current pulmonary knowledge.¿ Each subsequent edition¿the second in 1974, the third in 1983, the fourth in 1989, the fifth in 1994, and the sixth in 1998¿has continued that tradition. With Dr. Baum's retirement as the founder and senior editor of this long-established textbook series, we now rename and dedicate the seventh and future editions as Baum's Textbook of Pulmonary Diseases.
