A unique resource tool provided by the Institute of Scientific Information, the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) is the only source of citation data on journals. Access is available to both the JCR - Science Edition and the JCR - Social Sciences Edition. The Science Edition contains data from approximately 5,000 journals in the areas of science and technology, while the Social Science Edition contains data from roughly 1,500 journals in the social sciences. The JCR can show you the highest impact journals, most frequently used journals, hottest journals, and the largest journals for a subject area, publisher, or country.
