Language in Society

Language in Society is an international journal of sociolinguistics concerned with all branches of speech and language as aspects of social life. Published quarterly, the journal includes empirical articles of general theoretical, comparative or methodological interest. Content varies from predominantly linguistic to predominantly social. Language in Society aims to strengthen international scholarship and cooperation in this field. In addition to original articles, the journal publishes numerous reviews of the latest important books in the field.
