NASW Clinical Register

The Register of Clinical Social Workers database, produced by the National Association of Social Workers, Inc., contains listings of registered social workers, including their address and phone number, education and specialization, type of practice, and license information.
The Register has become an important method for identifying social workers who are qualified providers of mental health services. It aims to advance sound professional practice standards by providing a way to identify those qualified as clinical social work practitioners.
The Register's specific objectives are:

• To provide listings of qualified clinical social workers who meet NASW's professional criteria.
• To provide a reference for the general public, voluntary and governmental agencies, third-party payers, employee assistance programs, and information and referral services. & To enable improved inter- and intraprofessional referrals and consultation.
• To provide the criteria that NASW recommends for selecting clinical social workers.
