Chinese Historical Society of Southern California Digital ArchiveThe Chinese Historical Society of Southern California Digital Archive includes nearly 1,200 images of artifacts from two early Chinese settlements, now owned by the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California. The Los Angeles site supplies 1,040 artifacts, excavated from under Union Station, that document daily life among all classes within the Chinese community. The Santa Barbara site provides 150 artifacts from the Chinese working class dating between mid-1880 and 1905. Holdings: 1880-1905
