Applied Financial Economics

Applied Financial Economics is a bimonthly companion to Applied Economics. It publishes research papers, short articles, notes and comments on financial economics, banking and monetary economics with a particular bias towards practical aspects and applied topics. Special attention is paid to the actual operations of financial institutions and financial markets. International in its approach, Applied Financial Economics relates to experience in the main financial centres of Europe, North America, the Far East and Australasia. There is also an emerging interest in the financial institutions and problems of the developing world and the impact of those economies on the financial markets of the developed world. The rapidly changing economies of Central and Eastern Europe provide a wealth of exciting and valuable research.
