DisastersDisasters is a major peer-reviewed quarterly journal reporting on all aspects of disaster studies, policy and management. It aims to provide a forum for academics, policy-makers and practitioners on high quality research and practice related to natural disasters and complex political emergencies around the world. The journal promotes the interchange of ideas and experience and maintains a balance between field reports from relief workers, case studies, articles of general interest and academic papers.
