Professional Geographer

The Professional Geographer publishes concise research and brief book reviews in academic and applied geography. Each issue contains research articles that emphasize empirical research, methodological innovations and technical applications, and a special focus on topics of current importance. Empirical research and case studies from all subfields of geography, and of broad interest to geography, are emphasized. Since 1949, The Professional Geographer has focused on questions and problems of broad interest to geographers.
