Journal of Medieval HistoryThe Journal of Medieval History(JMH) is devoted exclusively to the history of Europe in the Middle Ages. There are no limits on the subject matter, provided it is within the medieval period, broadly defined as covering the centuries from the fall of the Roman empire to the Renaissance. Thus, well-established and traditional fields of study such as constitutional and political history remain as important as the latest developments in the approach and scope of social history.
