Latin American Periodicals Tables of Contents (LAPTOC)The Latin American Periodicals Tables of Contents (LAPTOC) is a searchable Web database that provides access to the tables of contents of more than 800 journals, primarily in the humanities and social sciences, published in Latin America. The Participating Libraries of the Latin Americanist Research Resources Project have accepted institutional collecting responsibilities for the journals included in the database. The libraries agree to acquire each issue of the assigned journal, to enter the tables of contents into the database, and to provide document delivery from the titles for which they maintain institutional responsibility. All participants agree to fill LAPTOC interlibrary loan (ILL) requests without charge to other LARRP participants. LARRP participants may transmit their interlibrary loan article requests electronically and may receive expedited service. Participants may charge non-LARRP libraries if they receive an ILL request for a LAPTOC journal article. You can consult the Web sites of specific journals for additional information. Links are provided by the country of publication: Argentina, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, Trinidad & Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
