Review of African Political Economy

The Review of African Political Economy is a refereed journal committed to encouraging high quality research and fostering intellectual excellence in the understanding of African political economy. All submissions are sent to (internal and external) referees for assessment and are evaluated on the basis of their originality and contribution to critical scholarship. This has permitted The Review, in the years since its inception in 1974, to initiate numerous key debates and open areas of important research.
