Earthquake Engineering AbstractsEarthquake Engineering Abstracts provides over 75,000 abstracts and citations on earthquake engineering and earthquake hazards mitigation. The National Information Service for Earthquake Engineering (NISEE), a public service project sponsored by the National Science Foundation, maintains the database at the Earthquake Engineering Research Center (EERC), University of California at Berkeley. Also included are another 17,300 citations to reports, monographs, serials, conference proceedings, slides, and videotapes from the EERC Library. Coverage on the 1989 Loma Prieta, California earthquake is particularly strong. About 6,500 records are added each year.
