Journal of Banking and FinanceThe aim of this international journal is to provide an outlet for the increasing flow of scholarly research concerning financial institutions and the money and capital markets within which they function. It includes studies which investigate the interaction of individuals and non-financial enterprises with financial intermediaries and markets. The emphasis is primarily on applied and policy oriented research. The Journal thus intends to improve communications between, and within, the academic and other research communities and those members of financial institutions, both private and public, national and international, who are responsible for operational and policy decisions.
