Chemical Abstracts through SciFinder ScholarSciFinder Scholar puts individual scientists directly in touch with the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) Registry of more than 22 million chemical substances and the CA databases with references to more than 15 million articles and patents. In addition, users have access to even more chemical information by accessing the CHEMCATS database, which consists of nearly 400,000 commercially available chemicals from more than 300 suppliers. Users can also link to CHEMLIST, a database of key domestic and international regulatory information. Holdings: 1907-present Note: This database requires the SciFinder Scholar software to run. It is available on PCs in USC Public Computing Centers and at the Norris Medical Library.
