Founded in 1975, Signs is recognized as the leading international journal in women's studies. Signs publishes articles from a wide range of disciplines in a variety of voicesÂ?articles engaging gender, race, culture, class, sexuality, and / or nation. The focus of essays ranges from cross-disciplinary theorizing and methodologies to specific disciplinary issues, framed to enter conversations of interest across disciplines.
