"Bioprocess Engineering is concerned with all technical and economical aspects of processes in which natural or derived biological substances are the basic material. It will publish articles dealing with the development and optimization of technical bioprocesses, of new equipment adapted to these processes and of bioprocess production units and plants. Main subjects are upstream and downstream processes, model building, bioreactors as well as measurement, control and automation of bioprocesses."
