Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Grant Funding Opportunities

SAMHSA has several programs that offer discretionary grant funding. The primary source of funds is the Knowledge Development and Application (KD&A) program. The goal of this program is to develop new knowledge about ways to improve the prevention and treatment of substance abuse and mental illness, and to work with State and local governments as well as providers, families, and consumers to apply that knowledge effectively in everyday practice.
