Search Tips

Keyword searches for words in the title, assigned keywords, and description of the resource.

Title searches for words only in the title.

When two or more words are entered into the Keyword or Title search box, the search retrieves only resources that contain all the words. (AND search)

*An asterisk can be used at the end of a word for truncation. index* retrieves index, indexes, indexing, indexed
"A phrase enclosed within double quotes retrieves only resources that include the phrase exactly as typed

If both a word or phrase in double quotes and another word are entered, then the search will return resources that contain either the word or words within the quotes or the additional word. (OR search)
e.g., "United States" California will return resources that include either the phrase United States OR the word California.

Searching for commonly used words such as 'Journal' or 'Medicine' will result in an extremely long wait for results.
