Workshop #4: Making connections: Energy & the environment
Date: Saturday, March 10, 2007
Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: USC Wrigley Marine Science Center, Catalina Island
Objective: We’ll explore how energy is utilized in a setting with limited resources, and how to sustain natural communities and the human communities that depend on them.  Catalina Island field experiences will promote a better understanding of energy, natural resources, and the environment.
Note: You must attend 2 of the 3 other workshops offered to be eligible to participate in the Catalina Island workshop.

The NRC regulates commercial nuclear power plants and other uses of nuclear materials, such as in nuclear medicine, through licensing, inspection and enforcement of its requirements.
