Sergio Gascon has more than 25 years of professional experience in business lending, accounting, taxation and small business consulting. The added values he brings to the L.A. MBEC include managerial abilities and leadership qualities he refined through his own success as an entrepreneur. He is passionate about small business and understands its intricacies from launching an enterprise to profitable management.
Prior to joining L.A. MBEC, Mr. Gascon achieved access-to-capital performance goals at Valley Economic Development Center that were previously unaccomplished in the company’s 30 year history. He attributes his business success to basic principles learned during his former employment with Talley & Company CPAs, a small public accounting firm in Orange County that lives the entrepreneur spirit.
Sergio holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting and finance from California State Fullerton. In 1999, he was recognized by "Hispanic Magazine" as one of the top 100 entrepreneurs in the United States.
