USC Good Neighbors Campaign: A Tradition of Giving
In 1993, the University of Southern California made it a priority and its responsibility to enhance the quality of life in the neighborhoods surrounding the University Park and Health Science campuses. The employees of the University of Southern California have more than embraced this commitment and they have created a tradition of giving through the annual Good Neighbors Campaign.
The Campaign will begin on October 1st and runs until October 31st. Campaign Leaders -- over 100 of them -- representing every school and department at the university will call on their colleagues to ask them to share with their neighbors. Information packets will be mailed to 14,000 employees during the last week of September.
USC Good Neighbors Campaign Reaches $1.1 Million in 2008!
The 2008 Good Neighbors Campaign reached its $1 million. Over 100 faculty and staff Campaign Leaders carried the campaign message, "A Tradition of Giving," and rallied support in their respective administrative departments and schools. The generosity of university faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends will enable the continued funding of university-community partnerships that provide valuable reading and writing, math, science, arts, sports, nutrition, and fitness enrichment programs.
