We accept donations through payroll deduction (USC employees only), check or cash at anytime of the year. Tax receipts are issued the following February for the year in which the donation is made.

The GNC pledge forms may be used by USC employees as well as by non-employees. Employees only can give through payroll deductions using the "Pledge Form for USC Employees." Non-employees may use the "Friends of GNC Pledge Form" to make a gift by check.

Please keep the following in mind:

• Checks for contributions to USC Neighborhood Outreach must be made payable to USC Neighborhood Outreach. Checks for contributions to United Way or any other agency/program must be made payable to United Way.
• To change payroll deductions from last year, a new pledge form must be completed.
• Payroll deduction pledges appear on pay stubs as either USC Neighborhood Outreach deductions or United Way deductions. All new deductions begin in January of the following year.
• Gifts to United Way will be sent to United Way of Los Angeles. All gifts designated to a special charity will be processed and distributed by United Way of Los Angeles. (United Way deducts a 16.6 percent fee for processing designations.)
