If your family’s income and/or resources have changed since you applied for financial aid, and you would like the family contribution to be re-evaluated, see Special Circumstances.

Your financial aid award is determined by federal and state regulations and university policy. The amount of your award is determined by subtracting the USC-determined family contribution from the estimated cost of attendance. Most students receive a combination of grants, loans and Federal Work-Study.

AWARD NOTIFICATION DATES

New undergraduates If you met all deadlines and eligibility requirements, you will be notified of your award before May 1. Notification will be sent to your permanent address, and your award will also be viewable online at My Financial Aid & Documents.

Continuing undergraduates If you met all deadlines and eligibility requirements, you will be notified of your award in late June. Late applicants will be notified by the end of July. If you missed any deadlines, your award is likely to be less than in previous years. Monitor your award status online at My Financial Aid & Documents.

VERIFY YOUR LOAN APPLICATION INFORMATION

Is your enrollment, housing and other information accurate? Has anything changed since you applied? To correct any errors, and/or provide the Financial Aid Office with any new information, send us an e-mail. To update your address, use OASIS, the university portal.
