Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center
The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program of the USC Comprehensive Cystic Fibrosis Center provides direct care and consultation for adults with cystic fibrosis. Outpatients are seen at the USC Healthcare Consultation Center II (1520 San Pablo St.) and inpatients are hospitalized at USC University Hospital (1500 San Pablo St.). The cystic fibrosis care team is led by pulmonologists, who are supported by a full range of consultants, including diabetologists, gastroenterologists, otolaryngologists, infectious disease experts, general surgeons, and cardiothoracic surgeons. Allied health services are provided by pulmonary clinical nurse specialists, dieticians, clinical social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and respiratory therapists. Advanced therapies are offered and as well as access to research protocols and lung transplantation.
