David Agus, MD
Professor of Medicine Director, Center for Applied Molecular Medicine Director, USC Westside Prostate Cancer Center Oncology
Dr. Agus is founder of www.Oncology.com, the largest online cancer resource and virtual community, and Navigenics-a consumer-focused healthcare technology and wellness company. Prior to joining USC, Dr. Agus served as Director of the Spielberg Family Center for Applied Proteomics and Research Director of the Louis Warschaw Prostate Cancer Center at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He also served as attending physician at Cedars-Sinai and Associate Professor of Medicine and Molecular Pharmacology at the UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Agus completed his oncology fellowship training at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, where he later became an attending physician in the Department of Medical Oncology and head of the Laboratory of Tumor Biology. He was also Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cornell University Medical Center.
Dr. Agus graduated cum laude with honors in molecular biology from Princeton University, and received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his medical internship and residency training at John Hopkins Hospital. Internships
