Celeste Anderson

In 1987, Celeste Anderson joined USC's Information Sciences Institiute (ISI), where she worked with Danny Cohen and Jon Postel, the creators of Los Nettos. She came to HPCC in 2003 when Los Nettos, the Los Angeles Access Point (LAAP) and Colocation were moved from ISI to the University Park campus. Currently she is working on those projects as well as Pacific Wave, a joint collaboration among USC, the Corporation for Education Initiatives in California (CENIC) and Pacific Northwest Gigapop (PNWGP). She is the author of two Requests for Comments, RFC-1588 and RFC-2555, and has served on numerous advisiory committees, especially within the CENIC community. She has been a member of the program committee for the annual CENIC conference on several ocassions and was chair of the committee in 2001 and 2004.
