We will increase knowledge, skills and behaviors that promote learner-centered, patient-centered and competency-based health professional education, society-valued research, and access to care and advocacy for underserved populations. Further, we will provide leadership in health professions to improve the well-being of all individuals. To accomplish our mission, we are committed to achieving the highest standards of academic and clinical excellence, innovation and discovery, quality patient care, community outreach and professional leadership that emphasizes preventive strategies of health literacy, health promotion, disease prevention and continuing professional education among all age groups.
