USC Dental Alumni
Association
USC Welcomes All Alumni as Members of the Dental Alumni
Association
In 1907 the USC School of Dentistry
was founded just ten years after the opening of the doors of the new
USC College of Dentistry. Throughout this long history, the Dental
Alumni Association has operated independently outside of the school.
Its mission though has been to provide support to all areas of the
school. Over the many years, funds have been provided for student
loans and scholarships and facility improvements. The Dental Alumni
Association membership fees and memorial funds have played an
important part in supporting USC School of Dentistry.
Now a whole new era has begun! The
decision has been made by the School and the members of the Dental
Alumni Association Board to fully integrate the Association within
the school. Also, it has been decided that all graduates from the
USC School of Dentistry will automatically become members of the
Dental Alumni Association. Membership dues have been eliminated and
the focus of this group will be friendship and service to the
alumni. There will still be dental school alumni events and
publications. Along with these are added benefits available to
alumni of the dental school and the university. Listed below are a
few of the benefits:
- Access to the Trojan Online
Community
- USC Credit Union Membership
- Free Forwarding E-Mail
- Access to USC Network of Libraries
- Travel
- Insurance Opportunities
