The major goal of project 1 is determine the metabolic fate of tobacco-associated carcinogens in oral mucosal cells and how the metabolism of these compounds may be modified by ethanol.
The major goal of this project is to identify the early molecular and genetic events involved in squamous cell carcinoma progression of the oral cavity.
