| Laboratory: |
The
Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology is located on the Health
Science Campus. The center consists of approximately 15,000
square feet of research space. This space includes dedicated
facilities for histology, organ culture and tissue culture work,
laboratories completely equipped for performing embryological and
molecular biology research and two laboratories dedicated
exclusively to embryonic stem cell research. Our core
facilities at the Center include: histology - pathology, electron
microscopy, fluorescent microscopy, conofocal microscopy, image
analysis, Hi-pressure liquid chromatography, as well as ultra
centrifuges, PCR machines and densitometers.

| Computer: |
We
have over 50 personal computers including dedicated systems for
image analysis and digital photography; most units are connected
to the internet and local networks. We also have software for word
processing, Excel, database management, statistic analysis,
protein and nucleic acid sequence analysis, densitometry and
morphometric analysis.

Office
space for faculty and other research personnel are located at the
Center as well as offices for administrative services.
