Buzz Saw Terror!
Part 1
She gathered her shoulder bag onto her right arm and promptly stood to retrieve the plastic bag from the compartment above that contained an ornate piece of wood she had uncovered in a secluded place in the outback of Australia.
Samantha Bridges, a fifth grade teacher, was delighted with her find and had already decided on the perfect spot in which to place this piece of natural art, her classroom orchid garden. Her particular class garden was located right next to the kindergarten sandbox. She did not seem to worry about the location. The children had never touched anything before. She happily exited the plane and was now rested, relaxed an eagerly looking forward to returning to school after the Christmas vacation.
Upon her return to school, Samantha placed her wooden art piece decoratively
in her orchid garden, not knowing that deep within it, something was living…..
The year proceeded normally and summer vacation began and ended soon enough.
September brought new students to the fifth grade and much to the surprise
of the kindergarten teachers, summer had brought a majestic looking, gigantic,
extremely hard, sandy looking mound which stood in the box where there
used to be sand!!!
