JACK’S BURIED TREASURE

Part 1

Once upon a time a little boy named Jack, Jr. (the son of Jack, from Jack and the Beanstalk) was playing in the forbidden garden behind his grandmother’s house. Suddenly, he tripped over a gnarled stump hidden in the tall grass. He took out his grandmother’s reading magnifier glass, which he secretly used to start fires. While aiming his magnifying glass towards the sun, trying to catch the sun’s rays, he noticed three small, oval objects. He thought that they were so beautiful, so he buried them separately so no one would find them. The first one he buried at the base of a large tree with purple flowers. The second he buried in a small sunny clearing near the creek. The third he hid under a rock. Then, his grandmother called him in because it was raining. Time passed and he forgot all about his buried treasure.
