Josh, a boy of about 10 from Los Angeles, decided to
leave his family while on a cruise ship going around the world. He is taking his dog, Singe, with him. He is taking a backpack containing an apple,
Snickers bar, a bag of raw peanuts, orange, and a pocketknife. He also has taken a Game boy, pad of paper
and pencil. Josh wants to live a life
of adventure like his hero, Indiana Jones.
He sets off for a life of exploration knowing that he can handle
anything. While off the coast of Egypt,
after going to bed he takes Singe and they sneak off the boat into the dark
desert.
