PEDro: The Physiotherapy Evidence Database
This database is an initiative of the Centre for Evidence-Based Physiotherapy (CEBP) at the University of Sydney, Australia. It has been developed to provide rapid access to bibliographic details and abstracts of randomised controlled trials and systematic reviews in physiotherapy. Most trials in the database have been rated for quality to help one quickly discriminate between trials that are likely to be valid and interpretable and those which are not. PEDro also contains evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. Their tutorial provides a step-by-step guide on how to distinguish between probably valid and potentially invalid trials.
