SPIN is a computer database of federal, nonfederal, and corporate support for faculty research, fellowships, travel, curriculum development, sabbaticals, and publications. Results usually provide institutional address, contact information, applications deadline, and a full detailed text description of the funding objectives, priorities, and restrictions. This section is available to USC accounts only (on-campus or PPP).

GENIUS is a searchable expertise profile system that currently contains faculty CV's and will be expanded in the near future to contain facilities and institutional profiles. As a service to R&D cooperation and regional/national development, this database is open to all users.
