Online Dissertation Services

Today, as a result of agreements with more than 8,000 publishers worldwide, Bell & Howell Information and Learning now provides access to information from periodicals, newspapers, out-of-print books, dissertations, and scholarly collections in various formats. Currently we employ more than 1,100 people in our world
headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Editorial Division in Louisville, Kentucky. Bell & Howell's (NYSE: BHW) acquisition of UMI (now Bell &
Howell Information and Learning) in 1985 propelled the company's expansion into electronic access products, first with CD-ROM products, and most
recently, with the Web-based ProQuest® information service

British Library Document Supply Centre (BLDSC)

The BLDSC provides a document delivery service throughout the world. The BLDSC is strong in science, technology and medicine. Almost all items in the
BLDSC's collections are available for loan and most journal articles can be copied subject to the provisions of the UK copyright legislation and the BLDSC's license with the UK Copyright Licensing Agency. There is a variety of requesting methods: mail, fax, e-mail, or via certain database hosts, on-line direct to the BLDSC's automated request processing system. Requests are normally processed within 24-28 hours of receipt. Copies are dispatched by first class mail.

Carl UnCover

UnCover has merged with ingenta to create a new service that will include richer content and electronic delivery of articles,as well as enhancements to the current UnCover services.

CISTI Document Delivery (Canadian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information)

The National Research Council of Canada provides worldwide scientific, technical and medical information through the Canadian Institute for Scientific and Technical
Information (CISTI). CISTI maintains one of the largest collections of published information in science and technology in North America. Photocopies or loans are available from CISTI's collection of journals, books, conference proceedings and technical reports.

Congressional Research Service, Inc.

The Congressional Research Service (CRS) is a "think tank" that works exclusively for members and committees of the United States Congress. CRS produces reports on a variety of issues such as abortion, civil rights, and air pollution. The
Penny Hill Press offers same-day shipment of all publications of the CRS.

ERIC Document Reproduction Service (EDRS) On-Demand Document Ordering

EDRS, the ERIC Document Reproduction Service, is the document delivery component of the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC). The ERIC database is the world's largest index to journal articles and documents in education,
containing over 8000,000 citations. Approximately one-half of the entries in the ERIC database are ERIC documents. ERIC documents include a wide
variety of resources such as teaching guides, research reports, bibliographies, issue papers, instructional materials, and test and evaluation instruments.

Information Express Online

Information Express specializes in fast, competitively-priced delivery of technical articles for all industries. It includes core journals covering pharmaceutical,
engineering, computer science, and business industries. Information Express is also
the document supplier for the IAC and Predicasts databases. Articles from IE
holdings are sent out in one day. California library sources include Stanford and the University of California library system. Special sources include Linda Hall, National Library of Medicine, and Canada Institute for Scientific and Technical Information.

ingenta

For libraries and information professionals, ingenta provides an extensive range of free and customized online services, from enabling authenticated campus-wide access to subscribed full text articles to creating branded library gateways incorporating management tools and deposit account facilities. ingenta.com offers you access to article summaries from over 20,000 publications linked to the full text of over 4,500 titles. Non-subscribers can, for the majority of articles, pay-per-view choosing from electronic, fax or Ariel delivery.
