The USC School of Dentistry provides an intellectually stimulating environment for faculty, residents and students to participate in state-of-the-science research, and to translate their findings to health care providers, patients and policy makers. This environment provides the basis for scholarship, creativity, innovation and discovery. To reach these goals, the school teaches and practices, critical thinking, evidence-based dentistry, and entrepreneurship.
The School of Dentistry’s primary research facility is the Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology (CCMB). Home to leading researchers in fields such as biomineralization, cleft palate and oral cancer, CCMB continues to build upon its substantial legacy of groundbreaking research.
