CONGRATULATIONS Staff member Shu Li was recently promoted to the position of manager of operations and marketing for the office of continuing oral health professional education. Li served as marketing coordinator since joining the USCSD staff in 2004.   The first winners of the USCSD Staff MOLAR Award were announced at the December Holiday Party. Long-time staff member Wendy Whitfield was chosen as the individual winner and the staff of the oral surgery department staff—Juana Arreola, Gina Finch, Sylvia Lauro, Michelle Montes de Oca, Maria Rangel, and Haidy Rivas— won the award’s team of the month.   The MOLAR Award recognizes one outstanding individual and one outstanding group/team each month.
