The School of Dentistry will once again be participating in the Special Olympics' Special Smiles program.  During the weekend of June 17-18, School of Dentistry faculty, staff and students will be on hand at the Special Olympics Summer Games 2006 to perform oral screenings, teach oral hygiene and make mouth guards for the athletes.

  DIRECTIONS IN LICENSURE
   

The debate is on about criteria for dental licensure nationwide.  Southern California dental students had the opportunity to listen and put their questions to leaders in organized dentistry and examining boards thanks to the efforts of a few USC dental students.[more]
