The university's Academic Leadership & Development Committee offers an ongoing series of seminars for university faculty.  The seminars cover a wide array of topics related to a career in academia including orienting new faculty, avoiding burnout and navigating the tenure process.

Attracting, Retaining and Developing Faculty
One of the most critical roles you will play as a Department Chair is to hire outstanding faculty and nurture their productivity and commitment to USC. This workshop is designed to help you learn and share best practices in regard to attracting faculty to the LA area (housing, compensation packages, and dual career issues).
