Preventing Falls

Many people think falling, which is the leading cause of injury-related death for people over age 65, is an inevitable fact of senior life. Not so, says Jon Pynoos, professor of gerontology at the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology and co-director of the USC Fall Prevention Center, who notes 30-40 percent of all falls can be prevented.
