Voluntary faculty, residents, fellows, and visiting scholars are eligible
for accounts. Employees of Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, Doheny Eye
Institute, LAC+USC Medical Center, Norris Cancer Hospital and USC University
Hospital are eligible for an account if they are conducting USC business.
These accounts are to be used for clinical, educational, or research
efforts for USC.
Please complete the appropriate computer account application and submit
it in person to the Norris Library Technology Support Center Monday
through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. You may also obtain and submit applications
at the Wilson Dental Library and the Childrens Hospital Los Angeles Library.

USC Voluntary Faculty
The application must be signed by Faculty Records as verification of your
Voluntary Faculty appointment.
USC Visiting Scholars
The application must include a memo from your department stating your
position and your USC departure date. If you are an international visitor,
we also need a copy of your passport and a copy of the J-1 signed by USC.
Childrens Hospital
Los Angeles
The application must be stamped and signed by the CHLA library. If you
are a CHLA employee, you must work for a USC department and your application
must be signed by the USC department chair or division chief. Please submit
your application to the CHLA library.
USC School of
Dentistry
Please submit your application to the Wilson Dental Library.
Residents, Fellows,
and Interns
Most residents are verified through the Graduate Medical Education (GME)
office. If you are NOT an LAC+USC trainee through the GME office, please
include a memo from your department stating your position and your USC
departure date.
USC Afilliated
Hospitals at the HSC Campus
You must be a full-time, benefits-eligible employee. You must work for
a USC department and your application must be signed by the USC department
chair or division chief.

USCWeb
Account
USCWeb computer accounts give users access to cwis.usc.edu, the USC web
server. These accounts enable web publishing for academic, research, administrative
and service units, university-affiliated faculty/staff organizations and
professional organizations with a USC web site maintainer. Review policies
on web resources at USC before completing the application form.
USC
Departmental /Organizational Account
Organizational accounts allow departments and faculty/staff organizations
affiliated with the university to provide information and services via
email.
Student
Organization Account
Student organizations recognized by the university can apply for an account
to be used for organizational email and web pages. The account will be
located on the student web server, www-scf.usc.edu.
