Computers are available during all library hours.
Consultants are available weekdays 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for help in using
library equipment and software.
Laser printers, activated by debit cards purchased from the card dispenser/regenerator on the Plaza Level next to the cirulation desk,
produce black and white copies for $.05/page and color copies for $.25/page.

Computers located throughout public areas of the library, include 21
computers in the computer lab on the upper level. A
USC computer account is required for login to most computers. Available
hardware and software is described below.

- 2 computers with HP flatbed color scanners (Media 1 and Media 2)
- Over 200 programs, including educational software, productivity
software, Internet tools, information resources, and decision aids.
Located in back of the Reference Area. Patrons may borrow an access
key from the Loan Desk.

FireWire Video capture system, a JVC VHS videocassette recorder, 1.44 mb disk drive, CDR/DVD-RWCD ROM drive
- Various programs for creating multimedia and web pages including
educational software, productivity software, Internet tools, information
resources, and decision aids are available.
InfoStations located throughout the library, provide access to library
catalogs, the Health sciences Journal Locator and online references,
class reserve lists, and links to the Information Technology Services
web site .

Eight ethernet connections to ResNet, the university residential network
for laptop users, are located on the lower
level of the library beyond the current journal shelving. Specific
hardware and registration are required.
