Computers are available during all library hours.
Consultants are available weekdays 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and some weekend hours for help in using
library equipment and software and with laptops.
Laser printers, activated by debit cards purchased from the card dispenser/regenerator on the Plaza Level next to the loan desk,
produce black and white copies for $.05/page, $.05/side for duplex and color copies for $.25/page. Printers are located on each floor

Computers located throughout public areas of the library, include 21
computers in the computer lab on the upper level, 35 computers located on the plaza level and two computers located on the lower level. A
USC computer account is required for login to most computers. Available
hardware and software is described below.

Located in back of the Plaza Level. Patrons may borrow an access
key from the Loan Desk (Media 2).
- Intel Core 2 Duo 3.2 GHz with Canon Flatbed scanner, 3.3 gb RAM, 1.44 mb disk drive, CDR/DVD-RWCD ROM drive.
- Card reader for various memory cards, including Secure Digital
- Various programs for creating multimedia and web pages including
educational software, productivity software, Internet tools, information
resources, and decision aids are available.
Five InfoStations located throughout the library, provide access to the Norris Medical Library web site, library
catalogs, most full-text journals licensed by USC,
class reserve lists, and links to the Information Technology Services
web site .

Eight Ethernet connections to ResNet, the university residential network
for laptop users, are located on the lower
level of the library beyond the current journal shelving. Specific
hardware and registration are required.
