Remote Storage Information

Norris Medical Library’s pre-1970 journal volumes** are in remote storage to provide additional shelving space for more current journals.

**Exceptions: All volumes of the following high use titles remain in the library:

British Medical Journal
JAMA
Journal of the American Medical Association
Lancet
Nature
New England Journal of Medicine

How can I get articles from remote storage?

Request articles from remote storage journal volumes through DocRetriever. There is no charge for USC faculty, staff, or students. Charges for non-USC requesters are found on the DocRetriever fee schedule for costs. Most requests submitted before noon are provided electronically the following day.
