• USC faculty
• USC staff
• USC students
• Staff of USC-affiliated hospitals (with hospital ID)

Privileges and Policies for USC Affiliated Users

Courtesy cards are available to the following groups:

• Graduates of the USC Health Sciences schools who are members of the USC Health Sciences schools alumni associations (Salerni Collegium or QSAD). Membership card or other proof of participation is required
• Sponsors and patrons of the Friends of the Norris Medical Library
• USC emeriti, (faculty, or staff)
• USC Associates
• UCLA and Caltech faculty (with proof of affiliation)
• Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School faculty (with proof of affiliation)

Privileges and Policies for Courtesy Card Holders

Individual fee cards are available to the following individuals:

• Licensed health professionals, including physicians, dentists, nurses, social workers, physical and occupational therapists, pharmacists, medical and laboratory technicians (with proof of licensure) - $60 for six months
• Foreign medical school graduates (with proof of degree, translation required) - $60 for six months
• UCLA and Caltech graduate students (with proof of affiliation) - $25 for six months

Privileges and Policies for Fee Card Holders

Norris fee cardholders have reciprocal privileges at the Wilson Dental Library subject to its policies. Information concerning application procedures and specific library privileges may be obtained from the Wilson Dental Library on the University Park Campus (213) 740-6476.

Business & Industry fee library cards are available to qualified corporations. The minimum annual fee for a business or corporate library card is $500 which extends borrowing privileges to a maximum of ten designated employees. If privileges are needed for additional representatives of the organization, the fee is increased incrementally by $50.00 per designate. The library will accept prepayment by check only.

Requests for cards must be submitted on corporation letterhead and signed by an officer of the corporation. Separate cards are issued for each individual designated by the corporate officer. Corporate representatives wishing to use the library must have a Norris Medical Library card; other forms of identification will not be accepted in lieu of library cards. Users must show their library cards together with a photo ID each time they check out library materials at the Loan Desk.
