All USC faculty members, researchers, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows may register for a free account to take full advantage of the following services:

COS Funding Opportunities - Search the most comprehensive source of funding information available on the web, with up-to-date records of available grants, awards, fellowships and other funding opportunities.

COS Workbench - By joining COS, you automatically receive a personalized Workbench from which to access and manage the following COS services.

  • Create your COS Expertise Profile for inclusion in the COS Expertise database to promote yourself and your work. See Help for Adding or Updating your Expertise Profile for additional information.
  • Use the COS Quick form for Online CV to create a CV from your COS Expertise Profile.
  • Set up your profile in a Funding Alert Account to receive a weekly COS Funding Alert email containing a customized list of funding opportunities. • Keep track of up to 200 funding records.
  • Share saved searches with other COS members.

COS Expertise - Access a database containing more than 480,000 profiles submitted by researchers from over 1,600 leading universities and other institutions involved in basic or applied research.

COS Scholar Universe provides authoritative information about more than 1 million scholars and organizations around the world, together with verified affiliation and publication information. The database comprises international faculty at 4-year universities and their departments. Community of Scholars is a unique tool for finding researchers by specific area of study, providing keyword access to the community behind the content.

PapersInvited was conceived and developed to assist researchers at all levels - scientists, professors, post-docs and students who are seeking publishing opportunities for their research papers. PapersInvited presents an exhaustive list of Calls for Papers issued by professional bodies, journal editors and other conference organizers in all disciplines.

Funds for this resource were provided by the USC Office of the Vice Provost for Research Advancement.
